Weathershield fabric was originally developed for outdoor performance clothing, the Nextec® encapsulation process uses precise and controlled placement of proprietary polymers to make ordinary fabric fibers weatherproof. Unlike traditional coatings and laminations that just protect one side of a fabric, Nextec® uses up to 40 computerized process controls to place protective polymers not only outside but inside the fabric itself!
